The original Captain Boomerang returns as BRIGHTEST DAY continues. Meanwhile, Barry must prove his innocence to the Renegades, cops from the 25th century. Discover what connection they have to the Rogues and what travesties have occurred in the future.

Captain Boomerang and the Flash discuss the Renegades. Boomerang causes a police helicopter to crash but the Flash saves the pilots. The Renegades want to arrest Boomerang too but he attacks them with his new weapons. Flash catches the weapons and lets them explode in safety to protect everyone.

Top thinks something is wrong about their mission and thinks Flash saving them means something. Heatstroke wants to stick to their rules and not interfer with the past. Top goes to talk to Flash and tells him that he will kill Iris in the future, so that he won't do it.

Iris finds something in the evidence that Barry took while Singh notices that the file is missing.

Top tells Barry that the Rogues plan an attack on him with a weapon they can't control. The Mirror Lords will take possession of Iris, turning her into the Mirror Mistress and Barry will have to kill her. Top tells him that he just has to attack the Rogues before they get a chance to get to him.

Heatstroke tells Commander Cold about Top breaking the law. Before they can do something, Captain Cold arrives with the dangerous weapon.
