    Corroboration

This was a very interesting issue for me and although certain parts asked for a bit too much suspension of disbelief, the end result was quite good.  There are basically three main things happening in this issue.  The first and maybe the least important but most important long term is the flirtatious relationship between Barry and Iris.  This is one of the most well established comic book romances and presumably the writers will take it in that direction again eventually, so it is nice to see the seeds being laid here.  The second is a pretty well conceived portion of the story how Barry learns to tap into the Speed Force to affect his mind as well as his body.  This gives him a sort of precognition.  Though it is dubious how accurate this might be it is still depicted here in a fun and engaging way.  Finally Barry is on the trail of anyone who knows about his friend Manuel and this leads to some more serious moments with Iris and sets up the exciting cliffhanger finale.  Pretty good overall.

      Brain Flash 0

The Good: Manapul and Buccellato REALLY know how to do flow and panel layouts in individual scenes. The layouts in The Flash are some of the best, and everything is incredibly fitting to give the sense of 'speed.' But its when Flash activates his new power that things are really kicked into high gear. We actually being to understand how The Flash's brain works in super speed. It's as subtle and fantastic as Waid's Daredevil, but in its own way. The use of color wash in flashbacks is extremely ef...
