    At the behest of his beautiful neighbor, Flash takes on a mission to rescue a kidnapped mob boss, only to confront immortal drug peddler and all-around bad guy Vandal Savage. Wally gets bad news about his finances.

    The battle between Vandal Savage and the Flash concludes, but not until after Savage pumps the Flash full of Velocity 9!

    Notes:

    • Inside joke all creator's first names were Mike.
    • Page 4 panel 2 the tractor trailer marked with Randall is a homage to the editor Barbara Randall.
    • Wally West was informed by his mother that his fortune is gone wiped out due to the stock market collapsing.
