Flash/Rogues vs. Grodd
This has been a brilliant series and along with Aquaman probably the most consistent comic in terms of quality. It has been one of my favourite comics in the New 52 and it just keeps getting better and better. It's amazingly written by Manapul and Buccellato and Manapul also does amazing art work on the series with Buccellato bringing excellent colouring to the series also. The issues they haven't done the art were still good but their art is just something else.
This issue sees The Rogues standing over and concious Flash looking at an army of Gorilla's lead by King Grodd. The Rogues realise they can't take them on on their own do they wake up the Flash. Flash explains that Grodd is trying to steel his powers for himself and makes a temporary truce with the Rogues. Glider accepts the truce and the Flash and the Rogues fight Grodd's army.
A good issue and yet again I'm happy Manapul is doing art for this series again. It was nice to see the Flash and the Rogues team up to take on this bigger threat, with Flash pointing out that when it's over they will finish what they started previously. I also liked Grodd's attitude when Trickster tried to make a deal with him (which I wont spoil). I loved all the action in this issue and it was just amazing seeing all these different elements coming from the Rogues whilst Flash is whizzing around the pages. Another thing I have loved about this series has been the panel breakdowns, they are spectacular and give the comic more uniqueness.
Final verdict. A brilliant continuation to what is a brilliant series. I would highly recommend both this comic and the series. Plus with Manapul and Buccellato doing art again there's another great reason to get this comic.
