what do you reckon have been the best bits in Doctor who's TV history?
The Doctor
Character » The Doctor appears in 2191 issues.
A super-intelligent alien Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey, the Doctor travels throughout time and space, adventuring and righting wrongs with his/her companions.
Best bits.....
I loved the bit in Boom Town when Margaret(Bhlom) the slitheen was trying to escape and as she teleported away the doctor brought her back. It made me crack up :D
Genesis of the Daleks
The Doctor (Tom Baker) falling to his death... because he slipped....
Return of Davros
Sontarans
yeah Doctors death at BBC.....I loved it because.....well.....It was a pathetic ending for my old favourite.
DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE SEASON
SPOILER
So let me get this straight.... The Doctor has one regeneration left because of the second to last episode, where he regenerated into himself... That seems like either a waste of a regeneration, or they want to end the series sooner rather than later. Or just have him jump from body to body like the Master did back in the day. The Master used up all of his regenerations quite a while ago and started jumping bodies during the end of the Tom Baker run, for those who don't know.
Shakespere episode was series 3 Episode 2
The Lazarus Experiment was Series 3 Episode 6
Both quite good episodes, but not the best in my opinion... though to be honest, with the exception of the end three episodes of Season 3 (The Year that never was), i didn't think season 3 was that great...
it was just The Doctor fawning over Martha while constantly thinking of Rose...

in order...
1. check your maths... The Doctor has 13 Regenerations, the one at the end of season 4 was his 10th regeneration though it wasn't a full regeneration so we don't know if it counts or not yet... so he's got at least 2 more left, maybe 3...
2. Yes, The Master did start jumping bodies, but also The Doctor may have more Regenerations than anyone realizes...

For me id say...
Terror of the Autons, Enter The Master + Most if not all of Roger Delgado's Storys.
The storys: 'Inferno' , 'The Deadly Asassin' , 'Trial of a Time Lord' , 'Utopia' , 'The Sound of Drums' , 'Last of the Time Lords' , 'Human Nature & 'The Family of Blood' , 'The Impossible Planet' & 'Satan Pit' , 'Father's Day' , 'The Invasion of Time'
The Sontarans
Tom Bakers swan song, good stuff (not because he left just good storys)
