    Short summary describing this issue.

Catch a Falling Lunatik! last edited by pikahyper on 10/27/20 09:37PM View full history

Each Defender has their own idea about Lunatik’s human identity. Which makes pinning down this trickster all the trickier!

The Defenders return home, with Dr. Strange and Bruce Banner going to Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum, and the others to Kyle Richmond's Riding Academy home.

Strange tells Banner about a cosmic danger he is worried about, and the two travel off to another plane to confront it.

Nighthawk, Valkyrie, and Hellcat find some unwelcome visitors at their base: the feds are once again investigating Nighthawk's finances. Val and Patsy decide to go to a dance at Val's new college to let off some steam. They meet their friends Dollar Bill and Professor Turk there, but then their other friend Ledge accuses Turk of being the criminal Lunatik, who they unsuccessfully fought a while ago. Turk leaves, and Val and Patsy decide to look for Lunatik. They call Kyle and split up. All three of the Defenders encounter a different Lunatik, and defeat him, thinking that they are defeating the only Lunatik. After bringing their captives together, they realize that something strange is going on. Then, Professor Turk shows up and declares that he is Lunatik as well!

As the final page summary says, "Only the dynamic Defenders could capture the same villain three times--and then have him surrender!"
