The Defenders decide to turn Jack Norriss over to S.H.I.E.L.D. The team realizes too late that the “Nick Fury” they encountered is an imposter working for Scorpio! Moon Knight steps in to help locate Scorpio’s headquarters. Will the Defenders, with the help of Moon Knight, be able to withstand an army of Zodiac androids?

Jake (Scorpio) and Nick (Max) Fury talk. Meanwhile, Valkyrie, Hellcat, Moon Knight, and Wonder Man turn Noriss over to Fury. It's not long until Noriss realizes he's not being taken to SHIELD. Hellcat and Valkyrie return to Nighthawk, who informs them that he's just had a call for the ransom of Noriss, much to Valkyrie's anger. At Scorpio's New Jersey base, he explains his grand plan to Noriss--the genetic creation of 12 zodiac men. Moon Knight arrives at the base, having followed Fury, but falls into a trap. The next morning, they discover that Moon Knight somehow escaped. Meanwhile, Nighthawk gets out the ransom and meets with Scorpio. Using the Zodiac Key, Scorpio immobilizes Nighthawk and teleports them away.
