With the help of Seraph and the Defenders, Cloud searches through clues about their past!

Seraph is at Doctor Strange's home saying that she knows about Cloud and her past, and wants to help her come to terms with it. Then Andromeda starts explaining everything about HER past as an Atlantean and that she had had come to surface in order to battle along The Defenders (the originals). (She was only copying Tony's credit cards to build an identity, and gave him a giant pearl as payment.) They all accept her as part of the team.

Beast tries to patch things up with Vera, but ends up having to leave on a mission again, just like normal.

Later, they fly off in one of Angel's planes to find out about Cloud's origin. When they fly over the spot where she was first captured by the Secret Empire, Cloud goes crazy and hits Beast with one of her lightning bolts, but Angel manages to fly the plane even though he is blind.

Meanwhile in a Soviet military station, a strange man walks alone, spreading fear among the soldiers. He gets a map and points to New Mexico, where he senses the Dragon of the Moon. Then he starts to walk in that direction, walking on the water of Pacific Ocean.

The Defenders get to a hospital where Seraph says all Cloud's answers are waiting. Cloud is worried, but Bobby encourages her. Inside, they find a couple of humans in a comatose state. They look just like Cloud's boy and girl incarnations. Then Cloud remembers that she once came to Earth looking for help, but witnessed a car crash and felt the pain of that couple. She assumed their identity but doesn't remember anything more because of the Secret Empire's brainwashing.

Seraph decides that Cloud has to confront her past and they all go to the car crash site. There Cloud collapses once again and only when Gargoyle flies with her to the clouds does she remember everything. "The Danger!" she cries, and then there is lightning and silence...
