    The Dark Knight

    Movie » The Dark Knight released on July 18, 2008.

    A year after the events of Batman Begins, a new era begins for Batman, as he settles in as Gotham's Caped Crusader, a new threat reveals itself, The Joker, a Clown Prince of Crime raiding banks in Gotham. The Batman must join forces with Commissioner Gordon and Harvey Dent to bring the Joker down before anyone suffers from the his plans. But they are not ready for what the Joker has in store for The People of Gotham. The movie serves as the second part of The Dark Knight Trilogy.

    I do. I think it's super overrated. Its good movie making, don't get me wrong. But I realllllyyy can't stand Christian Bale as Batman and Heath Ledger as Joker.

    Just figured that I would see if i was alone or not out there,lol.... Cuz I see that many people on here love the movie.

    You'll find plenty of people who disliked Christian Bale. I doubt you will find anybody who disliked Heath Ledger.

    Christian Bale redeemed himself in The Fighter. I can take him or leave him as Batman but the new franchise has been great. Great storytelling and then the addition of a great take on the Joker.

    Christian Bale did fine. He was portraying Batman how he was supposed to be portrayed. Dick Grayson once said that Batman does a poor Clint Eastwood voice imitation. Bale did it on purpose.

    That's actually true. Though for me, Christian Bale is Bruce Wayne; Kevin Conroy is Batman. Just my opinion.

    Totally both films are warped and disturbing but in a good cinematic entertaining way.

    Sorry but I just think Bale sucked as Batman.
    and Ledgers Joke was pretty bad to....
    i watched the movie many times and the more I watch it the less it seems like a Batman movie to me.
    Two Face is the only character I liked.

    Well, though it it indeed a GREAT movie, judging by it being based on the book it has a few flaws. About all of those films have flaws.

    I think the story is kind of stupid and I relies on Batman using dumb gadgets. I think the acting is great across the board I think it's far from perfect.

    Compare Bale that sounded like a castrated choir boy in Empire of the Sun to the Batman that sounded like he wanted to remove some phlegm from his throat. He's that versatile! Hehehehehehe!

    @InnerVenom123: I didn't get that at all, I did think that she had a very unhealthy infatuation with her daughter, but strictly on the fact that she was living vicariously through her daughter. I doubt there was a sexual ambition, or any past abuse

    I don't really like or dislike it... I pretty much just don't care very much about it.  Though I didn't care for the Glasgow smile Joker.

    Two-Face having a small end film role, is what made the portrayal powerful. Plus with the degree of burns he had, He would've died soon outside of treatment.
