The Circus of the Damned is located on the edges of The District in St. Louis, Missouri. It is a year-round carnival located inside a giant warehouse. New visitors to the Circus would realize quickly that this carnival is unlike any other they've ever been to. Giant neon lights spell out the carnival's name surrounded by giant fanged clowns. Various old-fashioned banners hang from the exterior of the Circus, advertising their many horrifying attractions.
The inside of the Circus is much like any other carnival except it's inside an old warehouse. However, this warehouse is so huge that visitors can ride the full-sized ferris wheel off to one side. Vendors sell corn dogs, cotton candy, and other mid-way treats. Visitors can play one of the many games and win a cuddly but slightly frightening toy such as fanged bats, snakes, panthers, and child-sized teddy bears. Other regular attractions include a funhouse with clowns and a haunted house.
Tents off to the sides attract many people, including children, to one of the more interesting shows. At the Circus, you can see a werewolf shift into his beast, see a zombie be raised from a grave, or even watch Count Alcourt be repeatedly hanged.

Known by few, The Circus of the Damned is the day-time resting place for the Master of the City, Nikolaos, and some of her most trusted Vampires. Beneath the Circus is a set of stairs with steps almost too large for a human and also too wide... like the stairway was built for something else. Something larger. Nikolaos has a throne room and a dungeon. There is a labyrinth of tunnels under the Circus that lead to the dungeon known only to the Wererats.
