    “BATMAN AND SWAMP THING: THE DELTA CONNECTION.” Selina Kyle has Batman search for her sister, a prison escapee, in a Louisiana swamp, where he meets Swamp Thing—and a hit man hired to kill Felicia Kyle.

    Batman arrives on a crime scene where police detectives inform him that a safe cracker named Albert Cowper has been the victim of a hit. His investigation has barely begun when, Selina Kyle visits Bruce Wayne to inform him that she fears her sister - currently doing time in Atchafalaya Prison my bay in danger.

    Meanwhile, a severe storm downs power lines in Louisiana allowing Felicia Kyle (Selina's sister) to escape into the swamp. There she's pursued by two men until Swamp Thing and Batman intervene. But what does it all mean? Can Batman get to the bottom of this mystery?

    The backup story, 'Endgame' is the culmination of events in a chess themed mystery being investigated by Nemesis.

    Good Detective Story 0

    It's almost like someone turned a switch at the start of the decade. Although this early 80s Batman / Swamp Thing team-up comes only a couple years after their last meeting (in Brave and the Bold #122), the two stories couldn't be more different. That one was... well a lot less than stellar. But, the writing here, by Martin Pasko, is excellent. We have a real mystery, the kind of police procedural that might be on a TV show like Law & Order. The names of places and things in the the bayou ...
