This story continues from the previous issue. Bozz, Mandy, Salem, and Inspector Fitzroy join Chief Baka in his travels back home to Africa, where Bozz hopes to find the origin of his race's energy crystal and perhaps find a way back to his planet.
Salem and Fitzroy's rivalry over Mandy comes to a head and they spend much of their time bickering or fighting over her. She however, thinks they're both acting like children and still loves Bozz, who is completely ignorant of her interest.
They run into an explorer, Jan Kruger, who learns of their quest and secretly plans to hijack it. He tries to capture Bozz but Bozz runs him off.
Baka takes them to the site of the crystal's origins. They split up to search, and Mandy finds a spaceship. At first she doesn't tell Bozz because she doesn't want to lose him but eventually she tells him, and they check it out. However Kruger comes back and ties them up so he can steal the ship.
Salem and Fitzroy, having finally come to respect one another, save the pair together. In the battle with Kruger, the ship is destroyed.
The series ends with the group returning home, their friendships strengthened but their various loves unrequited.
