    Review: The Boys #42 0

    Wee Hugie's stakeout of Super Duper takes an embarrassing turn when he actually falls in with the band of superhero rejects. THE GOOD I don't think I mentioned in my review of the last issue that Tony Avina's coloring work is really remarkable. In addition to the great production work he layers on Robertson's lines, he also puts in a lot of detail that really sells the character points and gags. Particularly, there's the "farmer's tan" on the jock superhero's butt and the slight revea...

    Thin Lizzy was Right 0

    I have read two issues of the Boys in total. #1 and this one. Probably not the best way to jump into a series that has over the course of forty two issues developed its own stories and mythos, but hey I loved what I'd heard about the series and picking up that first issue made me realizing I was missing out on a great read. So as a new reader, this current arc is a little baffling. I'm pretty confident though that it will soon make sense or at least conclude and start up another one soon enough....
