    The Batman Family 19 opens with the Dennis O'Neil story, "The Tomb of the White Bat", with art from Michael Golden and P. Craig Russell. Bruce Wayne is on a diplomatic bus tour with Ambassador Chaik. Someone is trying to assassinate the Ambassador. The situation is complicated by an urban legend of a White Bat that drains the blood of the victims it attacks. The assassin blows up a bridge, just missing the bus.
