Back from the Dead
This roster of the Avengers is very unnusual and Bob Harras makes the most of it, using all the quirks of the characters. Balancing the feelings of not fitting in (Thor), of being a heroic bafoon (Hercules), of being excessively sentimental leader and worried about his teammates (Captain America), of discovering new potentials (Black Knight), of not feeling anything at all or trying to reboot his systems (Vision), of starting over a new chapter in life (Crystal) and always been there for the Avengers (Jarvis) is a hard quest, but impressively done by Mr. Harras who, with excellent dialogues, made me laugh more than one time. Epting´s art is very good too, making this book an excellent choice for a light and easy read, good writing with amazing art. This is the core of Avengers: Captain worried about getting the team into shape, Jarvis worried about the acommodations of the new guests, Crystal and Vision trapped in dialogues about feelings and the good banters involving Thor (Eric) and Hercules. The only thing that let me down was the fact that both Cap and Natasha haven´t gone in the mission to rescue the Fantastic Four with the other Avengers, since there was no explanation for that. I guess this is more about dialogues than a solid and consistent plot, so maybe the ones that like more dense and difficult plots won´t be as pleased as I was by reading this; but it´s not just jibberish since there´s a good amount of action too. I recommend this issue for those who enjoy a good and old Avenger story, it won´t let you down.
