The Avengers #320

Puck gets directly involved in a serious international incident. 

Russian terrorists have taken over a British Naval nuclear submarine as the Avengers and the People’s Protectorate battle Orka, U-Man and an Atlantean army. The terrorists surface in Conception Bay, St. John's Newfoundland, Canada…Alpha Flight’s jurisdiction. Judd arrives with Shaman, Diamond Lil, Guardian and Box to assess the situation. 

Notes of Interest:

1) While there is no actual reference in the story that this issue takes place after Alpha Flight #90, I think that since Judd is out of the hospital and a young dwarf again it makes sense. 

2) This is the first time Judd meets Sersi, Crimson Dynamo and Perun.

WTF? Moment: Here we have Judd and Alpha Flight in yet another story featuring the Avengers and Atlanteans, but I have to admit that the plot of them getting involved in a potential nuclear disaster is a nice twist.
