    Prelude Of The War-Devil!

The Avengers deal with being stuck in an elevator back at the mansion, which is eventually fixed by Iron Man, and are greeted by Jarvis with the news that the coffee maker is not working.

At the Stark International branch in Detroit, Red Ronin has been repaired by Dr. Earl Cowan as he and Mr. Karnowski discuss the test scheduled for the next day. When Karnowski talks about how Cowan must be feeling to give up his work, the scientist knocks him out with a wrench and declares he won’t be giving it up.

Back at the Avengers Mansion, Iron Man proposes Jocasta for membership to Captain America while the android tries to lend a sympathetic ear to Vision with regards to his current situation with Scarlet Witch.

Out in New Jersey, Scarlet Witch is alone at the cottage when Ms. Marvel arrives and the two female Avengers discuss Wanda’s recent thoughts about having a child. She decides to put the idea on hold and return to New York but without a warning, Ms. Marvel feels ill and faints.

Iron Man informs Captain America that he will be stepping down as chairman of the group and after a team debriefing, Beast and Wonder Man head out for their double date while Ant-Man departs as Wasp and Yellowjacket prepare to spend some time together alone.

Beast and Wonder Man arrive at Madison Square Garden for a concert and meet their dates, Melissa Zimmerman and Candy Brown, who is the blind date for Wonder Man. Unfortunately, she is a divorced mother who brought her son Chauncey along and as a result, Wonder Man is not too happy with Beast.

Back at the mansion, Iron Man informs Vision that Scarlet Witch will be returning soon, which causes just a hint of a smile to develop on the normally stoic face of the android.

Meanwhile in Detroit, Cowan takes off in the Red Ronin with the intent of starting World War III and at the hospital in New Jersey, the doctor reveals that Ms. Marvel is three months pregnant.
