At least a little, when Peter Parker and Betty Brant finally start to show what they are feeling. Also this issue shows that J. Jonah Jameson is not all that bright. He decides to print that Spiderman and Electro are the same person. Without hard evidence. Seriously, he used the same theory that had midevil scientists believe that flays grew out of old meat. Electro isn’t really that well know in among casual Spider-Man fans and this could be explained by one of two reasons. The cover: 5 stars Another classic cover, possibly the best to date and introducing the first new villain since issue #6 … Electro. The cover says it all … how can Spider-Man fight someone he can’t touch. It’s another really colourful cover and villain on a rooftop setting; I love the way Ditko draws buildings, he has a fantastic perspective and I feel that some of his best Spider-Man covers have rooftop scenes in them. This issue of course is Electro's first appearance. Sadly he is percieved as a joke not hardly in the cartoons that I know of. I mean he was even defeated very quickly back in the wedding issue.What we do get is aunt May on her death bed for the first time. . Jonah thinking as usual that Spidey is Electro and is behind this. We also get Electro's origin which was told very well. Of course Lee and Ditko worked their butts off after last issue sub par stories .Definatly good to read and a near cla...
