Ends of the Earth is Rockin'! 0

I didn't see it last issue, but now I realize that Spidey's not quite doing as bad as we thought. Dan Slott continues his amazing Ends of the Earth storyline where Spider-Man is really being put to the test. Although we know Spider-Man will win in the end, Slott is really doing his best to make it a fun, exciting ride. I really am left wondering just how Parker will get out of each situation he's been put into.If you like 616 Spider-Man, you NEED to be reading this arc!...

    Showdown In The Desert. 0

Synopsis: Down, but not out, Spider-Man and Black Widow team up with Silver Sable and rebound to confront Sandman.Well. The Avengers are down, and all they manage to do was take down (or up) one member of the Sinister Six. In a way, I like that most of the Avengers are taken out of the game leaving Spidey with a few allies. It gives him more room, especially when it comes to his new suit. It's also great to see Spidey make some jokes despite the situation ( Though, it would be great to act a bit...

    A little Otto-Spidey Time 0

I've never been the biggest Sinister Six fan, and that is mostly because of it's roster. This story line though has given me a new appreciation for the group though. This issue follows up after the massive defeat Spider-man and the Avengers suffered the last issue. Spider-man manages to escape the clutches of Doc Ock with the help of Silver Sable, and the team decides to opt for a "taking peices off the board" approach, and the target of this issue is Sandman. Though more so a filler issue attem...

Comic Review -- Amazing Spider-Man #684: The Ends of the Earth, p 0

Originally posted on my blog, The Comics Cove, not too long ago...Spidey's trials and tribulations just never seem to end, for him and his allies in this case. This cover shot of him, Black Widow and Silver Sable all caught up in a titanic fight with a desert-powered Sandman really drives that point home and pulls readers in for this issue's story. The colors here are great, the action is intense, and Black Widow continues to do an excellent impression of Felicia Hardy by leaving her cleavage ex...
