Hobgoblin is back and he's dangerous as ever
Hobgoblin finally makes his return starting with Big Time.
Pros:
Color me surprised at the beginning of the issue. Hobgoblin is back, but it's not who you think (Well it was). It does make things quite interesting though.
I'm really impressed by the way Dan Slott formatted these two issues so far. I was worried in the last issue that so many huge changes went on that it would affect the story in this issue, but those fears have disappeared. He continues to bring back how Spider-man used to be: fun, funny, hectic, and eventful. He even have time to add other events without making the issue feel cramp whether it's big or small things like the small progress of The Daily Burgle, Norah seeing someone (?!) Commander Rogers (I think), and Venom. Things are also looking pretty up for Peter as well. New housing, a steady girlfriend (who could easily figure out that Pete and Spidey are one of the same) and a new job. Hopefully he can still keep these things unless Hobgoblin kills him first...
I do like Humberto Ramos's artwork this time around. The colors are vivid and wonderful to look at. Hobgoblin's beginning really did surprise me on the way it looked. I still have some nitpicks about everyone is shaped, but his art style definitely fits the characteristics of Hobgoblin.
Cons:
I don't have anything big to complain about. As I said, the artwork has some nitpicks, but it's really minor.
Overall: Another great issue by the new creative team. Once again, changes are in store, and I don't think that will be the last of them.
