Spidey has definably hit the big time!
So I picked it up in the store today, and what can I say? It was freaking amazing. The artwork didn’t disappoint at all, even though I had some very high expectations.
Of course a comic isn’t built on artwork alone, Dan Slott’s writing is equally amazing as Ramos’ art. He manages to not only bring forward an amazing presentation of Spider-Man, but also manages to write a story that presents several key characters in Spider-Man’s life to both the familiar and new users in a way that doesn’t take away from the story.
