    Amazing

I'm through the first story arc in Dan Slott's new Amazing Spider-Man volume and It's left me hungry for more. Slott is such an Amazing writer and probably the best post Secret Wars talent at Marvel. I don't even know where to start here, there was just so much awesomeness going on. Maybe I'll start with the bad news, I miss my old street level Spider-Man, this global, Iron Man type character isn't the same hads in the dirt Spider-Man that I have loved for the past 25 years. However, with Slott manning the helm we are sure to get great stories no matter what. So far we've gotten to see where Johnny Storm fits into ANAD Marvel, we've gotten to see return's of classic villains like Doc Oc, Green Goblin, and The Lizard. We've gotten to see Amazing friends like The Prowler and Mockingbird. We've gotten an awesome final page to this arc that shows Dan Slott is still on his game and has something big planned for the volume. Most importatnly though we've gotten to see that Peter Parker is still the same Virtue Ethics driven character that he was as he abandons a S.H.I.E.L.D. mission to fight for something truly important to him.
