    Awesomeness Ensues

This issue has one of my favorite Spidey moments in it, though it's probably not the one your thinking of. The moment comes after he's successfully lifted the massive weight that had pinned him to the ground in Doc Ock's underwater HQ through the determination, willpower, and love for those close to him that he's known for. Immediately after escaping, a huge rush of water plows into him and he's forced to dodge and weave through the debris as he's pushed along. When the rush of water finally comes to a stop, he's attacked by two of Ock's henchmen under water. Upon defeating them, he emerges from the water to find an entire group of assailants waiting for him. Spidey's injured and understandably exhausted at this point, yet he still keeps on going and charges the bad guys.

Now, here's where my favorite moment comes in. Spidey's too tired to fight effectively, so he decides he needs rest. So how do you rest in the middle of a fight? How about just kicking back and letting the other guys hit you? Doesn't sound practical, but that's what happens. Spider-Man sits back and allows the henchmen to punch and kick him without putting up any kind of fight in order to regain his strength (after which, he proceeds to wipe the floor with them). That's what Spider-Man considers to be a break. How awesome is that? It's not motivational or inspiring like the rest of the issue. It's just plain cool. Batman may be cited most often when it comes to moments of awesomeness, but I personally think this moment tops anything I've seen The Dark Knight do (which is saying something, considering this is the guy who punched out Superman we're talking about).

This is such a highly praised issue of Spider-Man for a reason. A truly fantastic read all around for more than just the reasons noted above. Issues 33 is a definite must read for Spidey fans, or anyone, really.

I had to write a review because this is by far the best issue I´ve ever read. It always reminds me what a great character Spider-Man is.  Peter´s aunt is dying and he is captured under a massive piece of construct unit while Doc Ock´s HQ is flood. The serum for his aunt is almost in grasp but even if he could reach it he would still be captured. He tries everything to free himself but fails and fails again. Peter is exhausted from the fight with Doc Ock but then he remembers that he can get thro...

This is it 'The Final Chapter' in the story arc that has been come to be known as The Final Chapter. At stake is the life of Aunt May. This issue capture...
