Plot
Peter and a bunch of other Spider-People go to a different dimension and meet the Superior Spider-Team.They gather together,fight some Morlun-ites, Marvel advertises some Spider-titles,because obviously they're gonna suck,and noone will read them,so let's throw in a plug,in the main book,why the hell not?!!.......they come back in the safe Zone,while having lost some Spider-People,and Superior decides he's in charge of the Spider-Men and women,so as you can imagine,for the next issue IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thoughts
Writing's continue being on a adequate level,so i presume Slott was over these books for a long time(Spider-Verse) and had time to flesh it out.
That's always a good thing.I don't like Slott,but when Spider-Man's readable,we all win.
Peter calms down a tad,and goes to 2099 with some other Spiders.There he meets mr SUPERIOR!!!.......not gonna lie,i was excited to read it,and it was VERY very good to read Otto dialog,it was cool to see how he differenciated Peter and Otto in the scenes they were involved together....he did a MASSIVELY better job that Ghost Pete and Otto,back in Superior.........
I would honestly be 100% fine with Slott writing a Superior Spider-Man book set in another Dimension.....and giving up Amazing obviously.
Otto was strong and arrogant,and Peter was still in jetlag from the dimension jump,it was perfect.
And as a 616 version of Peter,Otto, found Silk to be "strangely fetching" which was a very nice detail.
The issue is packed with pure action,because at some point Daemos and some other peeps bust in,and ruin the Spider-Orgy the party....and they just smash each other.
Some stuff happen.
Miles inderstands that 616 Peter is the real Peter and not the Hitler one with the tentacles.
Kaine and fake Reilly understand that they(Morlun people) clone wach other,because at some point Otto stabs Daemos but then an "another dimension Ezekiel" dies by resurrected Daemos' hands.
We learn from fake Ezekiel that Silk is the "bride" and that she's the most important piece of this whole puzzle.....so AGAIN,Peter's not the center of this sh!tstorm........SILK is......(GOD i'm tired of her)
Some Spider-People spread to dimensions solely for their own book purposes,like Jessica or Ben with Kaine..........what?....you don't care?!!.....i thought so.
Peter comes back to the safe zone along with some Spider-People(who lived) and Otto.....who,of course,decides he's in charge of all the Spier-Ness, and Pete clearly has some issues with that,and generally with him.........so.............next issue................
It's.On.
Can't wait.
Art's fenomenal,best i've seen in years etc,whatever i say every Spider-Verse issue.
