I know very little about Thanos and/or the Guardians of the Galaxy but i know Thanos is Evil and powerful. He looks possessed to me but like i said i dont know much about him

That's good to hear. I had other doubts as well. Anyone remember this cover from GoTG #8 in which Thanos had a cover and didn't even appear in the issue? Well, I do.
If he is really coming back I can't wait. It wouldn't surprise me if he came back to work with the Guardians, I mean it wouldn't be his first time playing the good guy, well I guess as good as Thanos can be. I would like to see the go between him and Drax.
@Nova`Prime`: That would be cool. But what I want to see is a fight with the Surfer. I love Thanos, but I've been waiting a long time for Thanos to finally get a beat down from the Surfer, who shouldn't have too much of a problem since his Annihilation power up.
@geraldthesloth: I don't think so either. I always felt that the Surfer was holding back, like always. But the writers might remember, Abnett and Lanning have been doing an awesome job not messing up histories and continuities.

i considered that as well, but this occurs after Realm Of Kings. also GoTG hasnt really shown any dealings with those Dark characters from that in this crossover. Im thinking its the real deal since Magus has also returned.

The wasp is dead dead, as dead as Jack of Hearts who I wish was still alive. Hercules had an issue that adressed all of the dead heroes who are playing in a casino in the underworld to come back to life, it was pretty funny :p but Thanos is such a sh!tty character. "
I've never really anything about him, so I wouldn't know.. But what issue was that casino in, I want to read that, lol. But they never gave us a body for Janet, so Bendis could always say "Oh, she was just in another universe hangen with Ultron, no biggy..."

I never liked the character and CV made me hate him even more.The more things about him that popped up I realized how sh#tty of a villain he was.Marvel basically spared him with PIS his entire existence and then killed him off at the hands of someone far weaker in comparison to people he's owned.

i like Thanos, but as ive said before i dont like the notion of him reappearing here. just seems forced. like theyre bringing out Thanos just for the sake of bringing him out. id think a better storyline would come out of using someone less known as it opens the doors for more creativity.
It wouldn't be the first time that the big purple puss has had a doppelganger. With the message of Marvel - The End and Lady Death's final acceptance of him would it not ruin things to have him brought back?
I don't know what the hell everybody is so mad about I loved Thanos and was mad as hell when I saw he died. He beat people with intelligence and not muscle or power so a lot of folks looked down on him. He is one of the smartest beings in Marvel. The issue with most folks is that they don't know how to take a character that isn't 100% evil but at the same time is no where near good. I will admit he has been in some wild and often weird stories but honestly who hasn't in comics. I mean come honestly all the people that are coming back now- Quasar, Kitty Pryde, Jean Grey, Apocolyspe, just to name a few.
Honestly the only people in comics who stay dead are Uncle Ben and the Waynes, so chances are if you die in a comic you will eventually come back sorry that just how it is.
I've been thinking about this a lot and I think I know why he's back. The Magus. I've seen preview images of the Magus coming back before Thanos is set to come back. We all know whenever the Magus is around, it's Thanos that stops him (usually with Adam Warlock). Only this time, there won't be a Warlock around since he actually turned into the Magus this time.
Maybe we'll get the best of both worlds. Thanos comes back for a bit (for the Thanos fans) and returns to Death's realm once the Magus is defeated (for the haters).

@jloneblackheart: Only problem with that is the Guardians (or should I say Star Lord) already killed Adam Warlock/Magus. Although like we all know you can't keep a good evil down so who knows maybe there is another Magus out there. Could be he comes from an alternate reality (yet again) to regather the splintered UCoT. But who knows, could be the Mad Titan or could be one from within the Fault, I guess we'll find out when the comic comes out. Although he'll probably only show up on the last page like usual.
@Nova`Prime`: Here's what I think about the Magus:
For along time we have been seeing that cocoon the Matriarch of the UCT has, but we have no idea what is inside of it. We also see she has an interest in whatever the creature inside of Moondragon is. I think they have something in common, because she did open the cocoon, which she though Warlock/Magus was inside of. No matter what, the Magus is coming in one form or another and I think that is what is luring Thanos.
It could be a Thanos from the Fault, but for some reason I don't think that. Although he looks 'possessed' to some in that pic, that's how he always looks when he's getting ready to blast someone. The one thing I can definitely agree with is that he will show up on the last page, which already sucks because issue #25 comes out in April.
@jloneblackheart: Good point I totally forgot about the cocoon that the UCT had. And whatever is in Moondragon I think it was that creature that attacked them and why the church wants it I don't know. I was so close to dropping GOTG because I just didn't like the time jumping issues also didn't like the art in them, but they have won me back.
@Nova`Prime`: the time jumping did get a little confusing, that's for sure. I had to read it like 4 times before I started editing bios. I think we will figure out what's going to happen tomorrow, maybe with a Magus shot at the end. Of course, they may not explain what happened until #23 or even further ahead.
