While Kit Carson and his new friend, Ray Clemmons, are attacked by the Company trappers led by Gomez and Hannigan, Tex and his companions are given hospitality at the Crow village. But there are many people there, especially the clique of the medicine man, Black Hawk, who look askance at the warm reception given to the Blackfoot’s friends. Once out of the village, Tex, Birdy, Lily, and their Blackfoot guides will become preys to kill.
