    Steve Stacey and Joyce Barton travel to Miami for an airplane race. Steve's competitor, Tex Garner, teams up with Lefty Lowe to kill the pilot.

    Joe Turner meets his old friend Steve and Joyce after an attempt is made on Stacey's life. Joe discusses his mechanic, Lefty Lowe. Steve states he doesn't trust Joe's mechanic because of bad things he heard about Lefty's gambling habits. Turns out that Steve is right, as Lefty sabotages Steve's plane by planting a bomb on it. Steve Stacey has a plan, though. He sends up his plane without a pilot, using a remote control to fly it. He crashes the unmanned plane into Tex's, when the bomb explodes. Garner parachutes from his plane into the waiting arm of the law.
