Christian Bale is badass

Loved the concept, hate the acting and for someone who saw it on 2004 look outdated, some movies like the Godfather can go without problems but the ones based on special effects like Terminator don't have that luxury. Only movies I personally think that can go away with it of that era are the Star Wars original movies

we were supposed to have wolverine on april 30th and now we are having it on May 22th...........

I just got back from seeing it and it was AWESOME!!!  I definitely give it a 4.5 / 5 stars.  Marcus Wright was an absolute badass through the entire film.  Without a doubt, he's my favorite character in the movie.  And yes, we get to see Arnold (or at least a CG appearance that looks like Arnold, lol).

Two reviews for the price of one.  I give you the option of a video review or a written one.

The movie was great, but the ending battle was illogical. I don't want to spoil anything though... or should I?

And i really liked how they had that little girl with Kyle Reese.
Well written story with an excellent plot!

For a relaunch, it was awesome. The franchise needed this to get out of the hole T3 dug. The first half hour of action was great, breakneck, ridiculous explosions, first time in a while I felt actual tension in an action movie, I really enjoyed that.  I thought McG did a pretty solid job directing the action sequences, the dialogue scenes kind of put me off a bit. I can't forgive the man for cutting Moon's nude scene. Just ridiculous. Crime against humanity.

I really liked all the tips of the hat to the previous movies, the motorcycle busting through the bridge, the tow truck chase, the GnR song, the Terminator's hand reaching for John Connor, "i'll be back", 1980s adonis Ahnuld etc. The guy that played Kyle Reese totally reminded me of Eddie Furlong for some reason.

Things I disliked- There were some of the more stereotypical action movie scenes that I didn't care for as much, Moon getting almost raped and then her falling for the all too human Terminator Sam Worthington. As with any action movie you have to suspend disbelief to a certain extent but the rescue chopper got into Skynet's stronghold a little too easily at the end there considering how it was built up as some impenetrable fortress of death throughout the whole movie. I really like Helena Bonham Carter but didn't really care for her as Skynet's brain, that was a pretty predictable twist too. Reminded me too much of Portal and Half Life 2.

I'd give it an 4/5, I liked it more than Star Trek and Wolverine.
