    The Untold Side-Story

Ben, a friend of Kyle Reese (Sarah Conner's protector), has traveled back in time to 1984, with a crucial mission objective. The majority of the events in this issue take place alongside the first Terminator film. Spoiler-free.

PLOT - Mostly a re-telling of the main events in the first film, but this time, from the POV of Ben. Ben was also one of the main characters in Whedon's Terminator: 2029 series, so I would recommend picking that up if you're curious about his backstory. The re-telling isn't boring, and hits only the main points - both of which are commendable.  However, not much new content is to be found in this issue, which i found a little disappointing.

ART - Above average. I'm a fan of art that doesn't add any lines where they aren't needed, and where everything/everyone is still easily recognizable. This is the case here, and it works well. I would classify it as clean and uncluttered, but nice to look at.

SCORE/Summary - 3.5/5, simply because not alot happened in the story. However, I bear in mind that this is a first issue, and often times their job is just to set the stage for the rest of the tale. What does happen is interesting, and I'll probably pick up issue 2!

There has been so many different takes on the main characters that I hav...
