    HISTORY

    The water-dwelling, lobsterish Termin Beings from the Termin star send out the BX Ray, which drains the planet Earth of oxygen. The ray, sent two billion years ago, arrives at Earth around the year 2050.

    Dr. Carter examines the new element, which he calls the BX Ray. He speaks with Lieutenant Dan Hastings, who agrees to travel to Termin. He encounters an old woman there, who is later revealed to be an aged Gloria Carter. In his confrontation with the Termin Beings, Dan and Gloria are both torn apart by the claws of the beings. The lieutenant is confused to return to Dr. Carter's lab on Earth. Bob Carter cradles his recovering sister, Dr. Carter assures Dan and Gloria that the events did actually occur. Two billion years ago. Dan's adventure caused thee BX Ray from Termin to cease.
