Ganryu is a sumo fighter that wanted to build a sumo ring, but his dishonorable behavior stopped him from doing so. He has a great crush for Michelle Chang - and later, Julia Chang - that leads to comic relief.
Bryan Fury was a currupt cop who died in a shootout and was ressurected as a cyborg by Dr. Abel. His sole motivation is to fight and destroy everyone and everything in his sight, using his kickboxing knowledge and immense strength via cybernetic implants
Jin Kazama is the son of Kazuya Mishima and Jun Kazama and grandson of Heihachi Mishima. After he finds out about the Mishima's ways and the heavy burden he carries - that being the Devil Gene - he vows to end his bloodline and get rid of the Gene, no matter the cost.
A Judo fighter with a short temper, Marshall Law's best friend and Kazuya's rival for a brief time. He strives on a quest to be "the greatest fighter in the universe" which often leads to comic relief.
Kuma I was a wild bear cub that Heihachi found on the Mishima Estate and raised as his personal pet. When Kuma died of old age his son Kuma II would take his place in the Tekken roster as Heihachi's pet. Kuma II is smarter than his father.
Ling Xiaoyu is a teenage fighter who frequently takes part in King of Iron Fist Tournament in the Tekken franchise. Friend to Jin Kazama, she's made it her goal to save Jin from himself. Her first appearance was in Tekken 3.
Jun Kazama is a character in the Tekken series and is the mother of Jin Kazama, whom she had with Kazuya Mishima. She was attacked by Ogre after Tekken 2, and her official status is "missing", although she is speculated to have died.
Head of Mishima Zaibatsu. He is the Patriarch of the Mishima line and the driving force behind the Tournaments of the Iron Fist. Heihachi is also an extremely robust and powerful fighter.
A hotheaded Tae Kwon Do fighter, student of Baek Doo San and rival to Jin Kazama. Because of a fight with Jin that ended on a tie, he often participates on the King of the Iron Fist tournament to try and settle the score with Jin.
He's known as God of fighting by the ancient Aztecs. Official canon describes Ogre as a war weapon left on earth by aliens in ancient times.
Yoshimitsu is the sword's title name, which is also given to the leader of the Manji Clan, whose purpose is to rob the rich and give to the poor. With a fighting style reminiscent of both ninjutsu and feudal japanese swordplay, he appears to have become more machine than man over the years.
Kazuya Mishima is a fighter who has a very bitter history with his father, Heihachi, and his son, Jin Kazama. Thanks to his tremendous fighting skill and his Devil Gene, he makes sure to remember his enemies to be uneasy around him.
