I finally seen it the other day and I gotta say I loved this movie. Mikey was my favorite turtle in this movie, he was hilarious. I had a tough time getting used to Raphael's voice, at first, but I got used to it. Raph had the the coolest fight scenes. Donnie didn't have much of a role, at least that's what I felt. Shredder looked and sounded awesome.

These are just my initial impressions of the movie I didn't want to go into to much detail. So what did you think of the movie?

I think it's one of the better comic book movies of the pre-X-Men era.

And Mikey's my favorite turtle too.

How are you just seeing this? I grew up on it and still think it's awesome. Can't watch Turtles 3 like that though.

@xwraith: I agree, I finally got around to getting Star Wars 4-6, I seen episode 4 yesterday, I really liked it, going to watch the rest tonight.

@guardiandevil83: I was born in the year '94, I probably seen it when I was real young but have no memory of it. It wasn't until recently that I heard the film was good so I rented it at my local movie shop. Is the 2nd film good, and what's bad about the third one?

One of my favorite movies of all time. Saw it as a kid in the theater when it first released, and I'll never forget it.

It's also the day I became a Raphael fan for life. ;)

It was great. Not looking forward to Michael Bay's version. It'll have pointless explosions with good action but horrible acting, especially from Megan Fox..who will be playing April...one of the most important characters in TMNT. She will blow it. I know it, you know it, your grandma knows it.

Yeah check out the 2nd. It's fun and you get to see Shredder all steroided out. I'm not gonna lie, that scene had me and my boys geeking out.

also i think all the voices change through the films

ohh wait until you get to Empire strikes back, sooo very good.

you have a rental place nearby....so jealous, my closest one is now 45 min drive away, not exactly convenient.

2nd ones ok...its like cool runnings, it has its moments. the third one is treated a lot like the third Star Wars or the third Evil Dead ( I mean Return of the Jedi and Army of Darkness) all three final movies of the trilogies take a wide turn and are of a completely different in nature from the rest of the trilogy, this leads a lot of people to conclude that these three movies are the worst ones of the trilogy or even as far as saying they are unwatchable. I am less inclined to say that about ninjas 3 , because the first two movies are done very lighthearted and almost parody like, if you think of ninjas three the same way, its not completely different.

@bierschneeman:Well maybe not so "local" it takes 15 minutes to get to it, but it is one of the closest stores to my house, it takes 35 minutes just to get to the food store. Living in a rural area sucks...

I'll keep the last part in mind when watching the rest of the movies.

Ralph vs 30 Foot Ninja still one of my most favorite scenes.

    I liked that scene too.

@fil123: I liked the voices for the first one, that's a bummer.

For sure. Obviously, some of the dialogue is dated and I it's anticlimactic when Shredder stands around as his enemies have a huddle (would have liked a longer Shredder vs. Splinter, too), but still, it's great.

This, the first one is like Karate Kid level, while TMNT 2 is like KK2, just not as good any way you put it. Other than the hotter April Oneal of course.

@ccraft: Amen to that. It's just a very well done movie for it being what it is. It has good action, comedy and has some really nice family moments as well. A far superior film than the sequel and I wont bother with the 3rd film smh.
