City Fall continues!
THE GOOD
City Fall has gotten increasingly better! We've had turtle drama, hero identity dilemma, awesome fight sequences, and a really engaging story. With this being the second to the last issue, things are winding down now with the TMNT team having captured Leo. However, there's going to be at least one more fight before we get Leo back home.
Side note, it could be a coincidence, however I don't think so-- but Heisenberg made a cameo appearance in this issue. !!!!!!!!!!!! YES! That is all.
Other than Heisenberg's appearance this was a pretty good issue. Kevin Eastman and his team of writers did a good job of the setup of this issue. We have this villain meeting being hosted by the Shredder basically saying, "join me or die", and the villains really like their lives so Shredder finally unites all the crime in the city. However, before that happened we have the turtles finding out about this meeting. It was really great to see all the pieces begin to connect and have a roller coaster momentum of this big fight with the Shredder and his new friends. That being said, words do not convey how amazing this issue is!
The artwork is phenomenal! If you've been reading this series you know the art is what helps make this story arc great.
THE BAD
No complaints.
THE VERDICT
Only one issue left before the City Fall story arc concludes. Really, anywhere in this series is the best place to jump on. The story is always engaging and with artwork to match. We will have to see in the conclusion how the turtles are going to escape with Leo and fight their way out of a nest of villains. Overall 5 out of 5.
