Seriously, DC is bringing back the original Titans team and nobody is talking about it. What gives?

I don't think the reviews for it have been all that great.

Seems good to me so far but even still it's the old Titans back and with the history intact.

I'm enjoying it so far.

Wasn't really impressed by the first issue. Haven't decided if its worth giving another shot.

Well I was waiting for the TPB but I would love to hear more about it.

Because it sucks!

Several reasons:

1) It's release was completely overshadowed by Batman and Robin: Eternal and DC didn't seem all that interested in hyping Titans Hunt.

2) While it seems to be a Titans reunion, most of the cast that people are familiar with Cyborg, Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven and Kid Flash are absent.

3) Contrary to fan outcry, not as many people care about the classic Titans anymore.

4) It's a surprisingly forgettable book, the last issue was the best but I'm not entirely sure what the endgame is for the series...

I'm enjoying it, one of my top books to have Donna and Garth back and in action.

I think it's because people have become jaded regarding (Teen) Titans, they just kinda expect it to suck, if not immediately then it eventually will take a massive nosedive and everyone can go: "See! It failed again! And I knew it would!", which is sad.

For my money however, I am quite enjoying seeing the puzzle of the Titans past slowly come together, there's perhaps not so much to say about the individual issues because so little seems to happen in them.

On another note about the team: I have to agree with Youknowwhattodo on his point 3 and 4; this just isn't the team most people actually wanted to see re-formed. Despite the failed attempts in the past of doing so, the NTT line up remains by far the most popular incarnation, and even if this works, I think a lot of people are still going to sit back and hope Victor, Raven, Kori and Wally reunite with them sooner rather than later.

Im not sure, but I wish they were. The series started off a little slow, but its been picking up with the inclusion of Hawk and Dove. Its probably my second or third favorite series right now. Ive mostly been talking about it in my pms.

I do. Now, I wouldn't say that it is the best book that they have right now, but it is far from the worst. Depending on how the next issue does, it might even make the top five, in my opinion.
