Where there's light, there's also darkness
What's Good?
First, I have to say how glad to see Tim back on this team. The Teen Titans needed a Robin, and while Damian in the last couple of issues were a great take, Tim being back now as Red Robin just make the team complete. Marcus To has been giving Tim a solo outlook in the Red Robin series, and it was nice to see that JT Krul understood that while Tim can jump in with the Teen Titans, he notices the drama that's been going on with the group while he was away.
But besides Tim being back on the team, I like the characterization with the team in this issue. Beast Boy being himself with his jokes, Kid Flash with a new found crush on Solstice, and Ravager's feisty personality, it's all there. Raven's small interaction with Solstice is interesting considering that she embodies darkness, keeping her emotions in check, while Solstice is light. I would like to see how they interact with each other if possible in the future.
I missed Nicola Scott's artwork in the last issue. With she brings in #93 is a great looking environment and nice character designs. It definitely helps move the story along compared to Geroges Jeanty's artwork.
What's Bad?
Nothing major really comes to mind, other than it's slow to start up, and the only character that didn't really stand out-scratch that, stood out in the worst way was Cassandra. I think it's because Tim has taken her place as the leader.
Overall: Great setup to bring in Solstice. This story arc looks promising enough, and I can't wait for the next issue.
