Red Robin is the new team leader
Cover
I really liked this cover because seeing Solstice was kind of cool because I like the connection between this issue and the Wonder Girl One Shot. I am going to consider this like an issue 2 to that Wonder Girl one shot.
Story
Solstice parents are missing and the Teen Titans go and help to find them. Cassie meets up with her mother and they all go looking for Solstice’s parents. As they search for them the team finds a demon and that demon pulls Cassie and her mom to another dimension.
Best Part
I loved the connection between the Wonder girl one shot and this issue. It was really great to see a story arc centered around Cassie. Cassie is one of my favorite characters and she brings a lot of good story to the table so she deserves this story arc. I liked seeing even though Cassie and her mom are not close she still gives the stink eye to Conner. What I saw in this issue was chemistry between Kid Flash and Solstice and I think it would be cool if we get to see that in further issues. Seeing in the beginning of this issue that I was happy to see was an introduction for Red Robin rejoining the team and not just sticking him in the story. It seemed like he belonged.
Worst Part
I thought the best thing for Cassie’s character was that she was leader. It made her really grow as a character. I hate that Red Robin is the leader now because for Tim being leader it is not going to really change his character much. But with Cassie being leader it made her character develop a lot. So, I was kind of disappointed to see Cassie taking orders from Tim instead of giving them. But at least Conner noticed the same thing I did in this issue.
Art
I liked the art in this issue for every character except one and that was Cassie. I never like the art for her character in this series. I think the problem I have the most is with her hair. I just am not a fan of the art for her hair.
