Team assessment: They all suck but not Rose. 3

Issue 91 of Teen Titans.  The Story: We have a flashback of a young Calligan supposedly killing a classmate showing that as a kid he was a hardcore scientist as a kid.The team defeats Headcase but Calligan escape's and Doll Face (the hot chick) is taken to the hospital but the jock wasn't found.Back at the Tower Connor tells Cassie that he needs a break from their relationship since Connor needs some time to rethink him being alive again (wich Im guessin this is when the Superboy ongoing is star...

The Island of Dr. Caligan 0

The Good: Of the DC 'Character Focus' covers, this one was pretty damn nice. And it comes not only at the end of a story arc, but the end of a jumping-on point story arc with a new team that everyone seems to love. Very appropriate. The flashback at the beginning. It was obvious, but chilling nonetheless. There were some nice uses of some more surreal panel layouts, especially on page 2 where Dr. Caligan appeared diagonally dividing looks at the 2 fights, one on each side. FIght's were best in t...

Carefull Robin -- that sounds an awfull lot like teamwork. 0

It’s universally acknowledged that there is no harder time in a person’s life than that time spent at High Teen Titans #91  school, being judged by your appearance, friends, likes and dislikes. It is indeed a time of hardship (though all I can remember is lessons, long hair, loud music and constantly losing the ability to speak every time a girl was present) but just imagine what could happen in such an environment if one bullied kid had been given near god-like powers by a twisted mad scientis...

    School's out forever! 0

(I had to use that as a title) Synopsis:The Teen Titans continue to confront Caligan's school of kids with powers. What's good? You know, I wonder why most of the members of the Teen Titans are not in school. Ravenger and Robin answered my question somewhat. Their teamwork while bickering worked well. I'm also glad that Krul addresses Bart's death. A lot of people seem to   have forgotten that this kid died, and it feels like that's a bad thing. Caligan is a very interesting villain now that I ...

It's about time Damiian made a friend! 0

Teen Titans #91 Okay so the battle rages on with the Teen Titans versus Headcase and his mind controlled followers. Damian and Rose are fighting hordes of minions and they start to build a friendship (THANK GOD!). Damian is not a total outcast anymore! In the meantime everyone works together to stop Headcase's black hole. Their team work pays off and Headcase is stopped. Following these events Cassandra struggles with her role as leader and seeks some spiritual guidance from Donna Troy's statue ...

look Teen Titans in school 0

I think after reading this issue, it shows a little of what the Teen Titans would be like in school.  It does ask the questions of how Ravager and Robin would behave as well as Conner and Cassie's relationship.    The breakup...feels more like it was prompted by Superboy's solo series.  Different times, different reasons than Superman's years in Smallville.   The comic does a good job of continuing the story with leaving hooks for the future.  Guess I'll keep going until the big 100th issue...

    Teen Titans Issue 91 0

The Teen Titans are officially back! After a dark period that I don't like to talk about, J. T. Krul and Nicola Scott have successfully brought back the Teen Titans in full force, making the team fun and functional again. I for one couldn't be happier, because now the team that helped bring me into comics is my favorite team to read once more! But enough small talk, let's open up Teen Titans issue 91 and see where the party's at!         The issue opens up with a flashback to the youth of...

    Full Circle. 0

So then, we come to the final issue of the first Krul/Scott arc, and what do we have?  The Story: It's the final issue of the Feral Boy's arc and as read in the last issue; one team of Titans are now cornering Headcase, Jock and Doll Face in the High School gym, while Damian and Ravager are taking on just about every other student, now all converted into Feral's, but having some fun taking them all down. As some will know, cornered animals are at the most dangerous because they are without optio...

Not as good as I thought it would be. 0

I was super excited about the new creative team J.T Krul who wrote the amazing Blackest Night: Titans but this arc is okay.  Nicola Scott is a great artist and is still doing a good job not as good as the preivious issues but her art is still Amazing. The diologue is good but the main problem is the story I get the Idea of new villains but these new villains are really boring nothing really exciting. I'm not a J.T Krul hater BN: Titans was so good but this book is kinda boring because these vill...
