Robin and Ravager are just awesome.

    Issue 90 of Teen Titans.

The Story: In Pakistan Solstice's parents wander off and disapear. At Titans Tower the team is searching information about Barney but can't find anything about him but Kid Flash brings his yearbook from his schoool. When they get their the team splits-up,Robin and Ravager to search the West Wing,Beast Boy and Superboy the East Wing of the school and Raven and Wonder Girl search for Kid Flash who got attacked by one of the girls that Dr.Calligan changed.Robin and Ravager end up in the cafeteria where the whole student bodie are changed into Feral Boys and the rest of the team is in the gymnasium.

The Good: Ravager's and Robin's banters exactly like I hoped they would and them opening the cafeteria door and looking pleased at the number of people they can fight was hilarious to me.Krul still handles the character extremely well, especially with Superboy saying that he misses Smallville. Also more pieces of Calligans plan is coming together and it seems quite interesting.Nicola Scott's art is always great to look at.

The Bad: I can't understand why but the teen angst displayed by the other teenagers that are chaned by Calligan is not supportable for me and the only teenage angst I can take is Runaways (except for Homeschooling but I will get to that). Also I think that they found Kid Flash way to quickly but thats not a problem.

The Verdict :Another issue of Teen Titans that was awesome with great character moments, great art and an interesting villain. This is a buy.

Teen Titans got lucky man. I mean, the book was in one of the worst slump I've seen in a long while when J. T. Krul came on board with Nicola Scott. These two have pretty much saved a great book and have managed to make me practically forget of the year of issues that sucked. With strong action, great characters, and a horizon that couldn't look brighter if they tried (Get it? Solstice is joining hehe), Teen Titans is one of the top books to keep an eye on. With that being said, let's div...

The Good: J.T. Krul is really impressing me with his writing. His Damian is fantastic. He always takes everything personally, and almost goes out of his way to take offense at anything said, and it clearly doesn't feel like a conscious effort. He's suffering from a self imposed isolation. Deep down, I think he wants to be more like his father, and automatically assumes nobody likes him, and then plays up the persona that he blames as the reason for people not liking him. All of this is extremely...
