It’s the Teen Titans versus Beast Boy in this action-packed issue! After both Doom Patrol and the Teen Titans reject Beast Boy’s membership, the teen hero turns to the circus, which in turn turns him against his friends!
Beast Boy wants to join the Doom Patrol, but The Chief won't let him without guardian consent. So he contacts the Teen Titans and asks, but they won't let him join for the same reason.
Beast Boy takes off and then starts working for Baltzar, the Beast Master. Baltzar has a magician in his circus hypnotize Beast Boy into hypnotizing the entire crowd, getting them to give their money to them and then send them out to pillage the town.
The Teen Titans, while investigating, get locked in a box. They get out, and Beast Boy, still hypnotized, attacks them. They snap Beast Boy out of the hypnotism, and stop Baltzar.
