Terror Titans
Scott Lobdell has been writing Superboy and Teen Titans to where you almost need to read them both. Now that we know a little bit about what is going on here, how does this fight and N.O.W.H.E.R.E. play out?
THE GOOD:
I really like the art. I think that it gives the characters personality and habits they may do while in battle. It's simple things like these that make me feel that the characters are very real and have quirks about them. The art is probably my favorite thing about this issue. I really like seeing the characters fight. I think it shows how strong they are and gives a look at their powers and personalities. I also really like the ending because I'm hopeful that this N.O.W.H.E.R.E. will end soon.
THE BAD:
I know this is going to come off as a hater, so let me apologize now. I'm so tired of having books where they go together. Superboy ties directly into this book with the same plot. We have gotten ten issues of N.O.W.H.E.R.E. and I'm tired of it. Why can't Superboy come in one issue when he leaves N.O.W.H.E.R.E? I also really don't like how all of the character go down so quickly. There are five against one and they fight him one at a time!? I also really don't like that there really is no super strong villain. I also think the ending of this issue should've been in Superboy because it's pretty big.
THE VERDICT: 3.5/5 (Good)
One issue of this series is really good, the next isn't that great. This is how this series has been since issue one. I like a lot of the characters but I don't really like this. It's hard to explain. They have introduces some new characters and they are cool. The art is good. If you want to buy two series, this is the book for you. If you want to buy two trades, this is the series for you. If you don't, you don't want this.
