You Are Not Your Father (x4 At Least)

The Good: Although I don't understand why Robin's the focused victim Superboy's punching, the generally feel of this cvoer is really nice, and spot on for the issue.
Matthew Clark's art is still something pretty great for this issue. He draws some very poingant emotional scenes, and has a great grasp of proper panel usage for pacing.
Some of the more emotional scenes worked pretty well. When Wonder Girl almost wrestled control away from Lex Luthor, Superboy's broken figure was very nicely tragic.

The Bad: Bringing up this whole.... I think Ares? Subplot with Cassie in the middle of a crossover arc feels out of place for someone like me reading Outsiders but not Teen Titans. It doesn't even seem like much is advanced, at least not with good pacing; just an acknowledgement that the subplot exists.
I do have one problem with Matthew Clark's art, and it's that his Brainic 8 doesn't look very good. The mechanics just make her look scantilly clad, and her body is an awkward balance between sexy and muscular.
Why is the team so mad at Robin for keeping Superboy's secret? It was Superboy's secret to keep, and he trusted Robin with it. Not telling the team doesn't make him like Batman. They all severely overreact to not knowing something they would've known five minutes ago if it weren't for Luthor's mind control. And again, accusing Robin of being like Batman for keeping someone else's entrusted secret? That's just dumb. And then it leads to a pitifully awkward moment where Robin has to tell Nightwing the Teen Titans and Outsiders should work together because they're not like Batman or the Justice League.
It's retartedly obvious that Lex Luthor is controlling Superboy, he freaking tells them outright. So why do they have to get into this big philosophical debate over how Superboy isn't evil just because of his DNA. None of that is important! It's MIND CONTROL. Lex Luthor is CONTROLLING Superboy's MIND. What they have to do is break that.

    In Conclusion: 2/5
There's some cool stuff, but overall the handling of Superboy's 'betrayal' is incredibly weak. No character has any idea how to react properly, even when given all the right cues. Then we get into some even more awkward and forced 'lessons' learned by Robin and Nightwing that neither of them needed to learn. This story had no need to be a crossover.
