    The Dynamic Trio

The Good: First of all, Lobdell (I thinks that's how u spell it?) Manages to get a lot done in 18 or so pages. I hate when I get to the last page of a comic and think "Wow. At most, 2 things happened in this whole issue" In terms of story content you definitely get your money's worth in this issue. We learn a bit more about Diesel and Cassie's abilities. We're also introduced to a few interesting subplots and connections to the rest of the DCU. Solstice makes a new friend.

What I really loved about this issue and issue 13, was the interaction between Cassie, Connor, and Tim. Despite the cover, I hadn't even noticed that I was reading about DC's new Trinity or at least the sidekick version. The contrast in the relationship between the older and younger versions really interested me especially in how Tim interacts with his team compared to Bruce. Red Robin may actually be more secretive with his team-mates than Batman, which I found pretty interesting. I found the dialogue entertaining. And I also think I like when the action is placed in the background better than at the forefront, at least in this book.

Cassie and Diesel's relationship Drama actually hasn't bored me to death yet. So that's a plus.

And hopefully, All the info Tim gave us about trigon means I'll be able to save some cash on Trinity War tie-in issues. And in unrelated news : DAMN TIM! You couldn't even last ONE DAY. I think those fancy wings have actually made Red Robin weaker somehow.

The Bad: Not much. One or two of Diesel's lines seemed kind of "90s and not in a cool way". But I can live with it. Also, Connor switches back and forth between his old and new costumes. It could be bad if it's just random and not plot or character significant.

The Verdict: I'd recommend this to any Titans fans. With all the stuff that happens in this issue, you can't Skip it. It also has A LOT of info that's pretty relevant to the near and far future, so I wouldn't even wait for a Trade. It's definitely a Buy.

    Rating: 4.5/5

I have overall been enjoying this series and it's been very fun. The current story involving Wonder Girl's origin has however been very poor and I hope the Death of the Family crossover, between this series and Red Hood and the Outlaws is better.PlotThis issue sees Wonder Girl, along with Superboy and Red Robin in search of Diesel and the Silent Armour he's wearing. Meanwhile Kid Flash and Bunker are bored waiting for the others to return, and Solstice gets visited by Kurt Lance who offers to ma...

The Origin of Wonder GirlTo see this review with images, click here.Teen Titans has had a rather inconsistent run starting off horribly but becoming better with the current story arc. Though I despised Lobdell’s earliest issues of Teen Titans, I’ve found myself growing fond of the central three characters as they set off on their own to help Cassie harness and then reclaim her armor. Does this issue expand further on the chemistry between Red Robin, Superboy, and Wonder Girl, or does this trio o...
