    Short summary describing this issue.

The Furious last edited by monkeysalad on 12/19/22 04:07AM View full history

The Furious starring Team 7, script by Chuck Dixon, pencils by Aron Wiesenfeld, inks by JD, Scott Williams, and John Tighe (assistant); Team 7 finally gets the picture when I.O. tries to nuke them, and they go into hiding (all except for Deathblow who goes back to jail).

Deathblow escapes custody and radios the other members of Team 7, telling them about the nuke headed their way. Grifter hits on the idea that if they combine their powers, they can form a force field that could protect them from the blast. The team complies and they survive the blast.

Knowing his teammates are safe, Deathblow surrenders to the authorities. When the helicopters arrive to pick up the team, only Lynch boards the chopper.

In the Soviet Union, Commissar Rostov wakes up knowing that something "terrible and magnificent" has happened.

Six months later, Team 7 (minus Lynch) are hiding out in Nicaragua. They have grown tired of hiding from Miles Craven so they decide to head back and start looking for answers.
