Town That Hated Tarzan
Dan Spiegle's artwork is outstanding. In addition to providing his usual fan service by being a walking shirtless scene, Korak becomes a dude in distress in this story. Korak is jumped by an imposter Tarzan and placed in a stranglehold but manages to fight himself free. The imposter leads our unsuspecting hero to where he is hiding his stash of protection money. However, when the boy looks to make sure, he is pushed into a hidden pit with a hungry tiger. Our hero manages to free himself with the help of some rope and a nearby tree. In this two-part story, Korak reverts to being his usual handsome boy scout in a leather loincloth. He has a good heart that propels him into action, often impetuously. Fortunately, he has strength, agility, and intelligence to back it up. In this second part, he exposes the blackmailing imposter, returns the town’s money, and restores his heroic father’s good name.
