    Dan Spiegle's artwork is outstanding. In addition to providing his usual fan service by being a walking shirtless scene, Korak becomes a dude in distress in this story. While spying on a plastic surgeon who changes the faces of wanted criminals, Korak is discovered by the doctor’s faceless henchman, who applies a bear-hug hold on the boy. Unable to break the hold himself, our hero yells for help from the jungle, bringing out an obliging lion who forces the henchman to release the youth and run a...

    Dan Spiegle's artwork is outstanding. Korak provides his usual fan service by being a walking shirtless scene. In this two-part story, Korak comes across as a handsome boy scout in a leather loincloth. He has a good heart that propels him into action, often impetuously. Fortunately, he has strength, agility, and intelligence to back it up. In this first part, he saves a lady from a giant bird, the bird’s orphaned chick from starvation, and a wealthy bird collector from a poisonous snake....
