Meanwhile, back in the present, General 'Thunderbolt' Ross has Rick Jones back in custody, and this time he and Major Talbot are determined to get the secret of the Hulk out of the youth!

    The Blueprint for Nearly All Marvel Comics of the 70s 0

    Jack Kirby continues to step further back and let other artists do the pencils and inks over his basic layouts. In so doing, he's more or less training (intentionally or not) all the artists that will comprise the Marvel Bullpen in what will become the house style. Dramatic Dutch camera angles, giant fists in the foreground, and huge blocky sound effects like KRRAKK! and FOOOM! on nearly every page.
