    Personality

While he can be as arrogant and hot-headed as the rest of the Dinobots, Swoop is considered to be the friendliest and most outgoing member of the team. However, his pteranodon form and his group's reputation cause many of his fellow Autobots to sadly be weary around him. Swoop may be the weakest of the Dinobots but he makes up for it by his intelligence and flight abilities. He is also the most fuel efficent. In the cartoon continuities, he is usually portrayed as the smartest Dinobot. In the comics, where Grimlock is actually intelligent, he is the second smartest of the group.

    Powers and Abilities

In his dinosaur form, Swoop's weapons of choice are his missile launchers that he carries under each wing. The missiles he fires pack are equal to over 5,000lbs of TNT each. In his robot mode, his missile launchers are detachable and he can use them alongside his thermal sword, which can heat up to over 4,000 degrees Celsius.

    Fall of Cybertron

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron - Swoop appears in all versions of this game. He is a member of the Autobots like in the previous title and serves under Grimlock in the Lightning Strike team. While Grimlock is tasked with guarding a passage to the Ark he and the rest of his team, Swop included, left their post because Grimlock thought the Decepticons, especially Shockwave, was up to something and they went to the Sea of Rust to check it out. Optimus Prime dispatched Cliffjumper, Jazz, and Sideswipe to find the missing team so he could question why they left their post. They followed the trail to an ancient set of Cybertronian ruins that belonged to the astronomers who cataloged numerous worlds, including Earth. Grimlock, Swoop and the rest of the team were captured by Shockwave. They were used in his experiments to mimic the lifeforms of the planet he was researching. Swoop because of his Aerial alternate form was modeled after a pteranadon. Once Grimlock broke out he began to rescue his team with the first being Swoop, then Slag, and last Snarl. Along the way the defeated the three leading Insecticons Hardshell, Kickback, and Sharpshot. When Grimlock needed to get to Shockwave's Space Bridge tower Swoop carried him their. It is unknown of the Dinobots made it to the Ark in order to depart Cybertron. Swoop will eventually be released as DLC for the multiplayer aspect of the game alongside the rest of the Dinobots and the Insecticons.
