What is the "Astral Plane"? And what does it mean to have "Astral Powers"?

Its like a realm used by Telepaths (usually). Its a metal plane of existence where characters like Xavier, The Shadow King, Emma Frost, The Phoenix, Pyslocke, etc etc.. go to battle. There they can unleash the full capabilities of there powers.

But what ever happens in the Astral Plane will have an effect on the mind of the opponent like if he loses in the Astral Plan you can make his character paralyzed or die in reality.

An astral plane-based RPG battle would be so cool, kind of like when Emma Frost and Rachel Summers fought as their astral selves! ^_^
