    I am a Pre-Crisis SuperStan, I'd read most of these issues before I bought the hardcover.Some of these stories are a bit too contrived or silly, more Silver Age than Bronze, and clearly aimed at children. Good action, art, strange concepts and a respectful treatment of the characters is what readers like me demand as the minimum for a superhero story, and these deliver.The most important issue after that, for me, is whether they use characters I am interested in, and the selection of stories he...
