Superman is one of the most powerful being's in the DCU. Super strength, Super speed, super hearing, can fly around the world within minutes or rather seconds, whatever. He's currently engaged to Lois Lane, and they both work at the Daily Planet. With all the abilities he have, allies he encountered over the years, and threats he's overcome, wouldn't it make sense for him to be engaged to someone at his level or higher? Tell me, if Superman were to ditch Lois for some other woman, who would it be? It could be any woman from the DCU, Marvel, or hell, any real actress for that matter. Wonder Woman is out of the question since comic book writers always put them together in their alternate earth stories and that it such a easy answer. Mines would either beBlack Cat, She Hulk, or Jessica Alba.

@Vortex13: I havent found anything stating her age. She wasa reserve Titan and a in the Teen Titans east but supposably mothered the new Dr. Fate with the male Hawk (not her kid just took care of him). Just from reading her bio she sounds like she is older then a teen. I would guess 23-25

@Mbecks14: @Nerd Of A Hero: Even though I'm 100% supporting Lois Lane with Mbecks1, and that I think Diana would be a 'perfect' match to Kal-El, in an alternative universe, where neither Diana or Lois existed I would say Maxima for the following reasons:
She's Alien - She understands him better.
She's in his power level - He would not need to hold his strength while hugging her, for instance. Also, they could, you know... take walks together in space....
Redhead.
She's been inlove with him in the past - You know it could have happen....
Different personalities - They are very different from each other. They would have a great dynamic together and that would lead to very interesting plots.
I would agree too except Maxima's personality just seems a little off and doesnt seem like it would work w/ Superman. She has that "gung-ho warrior seeking out a worthy opponent and fighting for her own pride even to the extent of putting others in danger" thing going on, while Superman was raised as a human and has more conventional idealistic human values and human personality traits.

While I completely understand your arguments, my young-naiveness allows me not only to believe that opposite atract each other, but also to find such couples very cute. I think they would have a very difficult relationship to manage, but I think it could be nice to see them struggle too their differences just for love. Superhero Spider-man and Supermodel MJ seems a perfect match. specially while they use to seam to get along so well. Well when things are that easy it's kind of nice, but seeing a couple like Superman and Maxima together, that my friend could teach us a lot about about perseverance, self-sacrifice and loyalty.
Either way even Superman current relationship is very paradoxal, as Superman Kal-El could have any woman, any superwoman even, but he chose Lois. Lois could have any man other than Clark, still when Superman lost his powers and lived a whole year just as Clark she admitted that she liked more things that way rather than being married to Superman.
My point it: he's Superman, he flies and throws heavy stuff into the sun, he's not made to settle with a trophy girl, he needs independent and strong women that will give him a hard time and very interesting plots!
